Hall of Fame
Ronnie Nichols was not only a leader on the court, but off the court as well. He was a two-time All-Florida Sun Conference selection and earned honorable mention NAIA All-America honors in 1997. Nichols’ name is all over the Flagler men’s basketball record books. Despite only playing two seasons, after transferring to Flagler from Alabama Southern Junior College, he ranks second all-time in rebounds per game with an 8.8 average and is third in field goal percentage with a .571 mark. Nichols tallied 959 career points.
After Flagler, he went on to play professionally in Germany. Currently, Nichols is the vice principal for the Career and Academic Development Institute in Philadelphia.
