Mourtakos pitched for the Saints from 1995 through 1999. He is the only pitcher in the history of the program to toss a complete game no-hitter. His came on Feb. 6, 1998 against Northwood University of West Palm Beach. Mourtakos holds the program’s career strikeout record with 299 and is tied for first for the most starts in a season with 17 back in 1999. He ranks second all-time in complete games (18), inning pitched (348.1) and wins (29). Mourtakos is sixth in starts in a career with 43 and is 10th in appearances with 51. Mourtakos struck out 105 batters as a senior which ranks second for most strikeouts in season at Flagler. He is a member of Flagler All-Decade (1990s) Team.
