Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) serves as the voice of Flagler College student-athletes. SAAC is made up of representatives from each sport who work together to enhance the student-athlete experience, foster leadership development, promote community engagement, and strengthen communication between student-athletes and the athletics administration.

SAAC provides student-athletes with opportunities to impact campus life, support community service initiatives, advocate for their peers, and represent Flagler College at the conference and national levels.

Committee Mission

What Does SAAC Do?

  • Serves as the unified voice of Flagler College student-athletes
  • Provides direct feedback and insights to the athletics administration
  • Organizes meaningful community service and local outreach initiatives
  • Promotes game-day attendance and school pride at home athletic events
  • Coordinates enriching student-athlete engagement activities
  • Represents Flagler College within the Peach Belt Conference and NCAA
  • Educates fellow student-athletes on upcoming NCAA legislation changes

Membership Overview

SAAC consists of elected representatives from each sport. Representatives serve as a liaison between their team and the committee, bringing ideas, concerns, and feedback to monthly meetings.

Community Impact

Flagler student-athletes are committed to serving the St. Augustine community through volunteer work, youth engagement, campus initiatives, and charitable events. SAAC helps coordinate and promote these efforts throughout the year.
