STUDENT-ATHLETE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (SAAC)
I. MEMBERSHIP
A. This committee consists of two elected representatives from each varsity sport. Each team will elect new members for each upcoming academic year.
II. PURPOSE and ACTIVITIES
A. The purpose of the committee is to enhance the student-athlete experience.
B. General areas of involvement include:
1. A communication link between student-athletes, coaches, athletics administration and College administration.
2. Promotion of campus attendance at home contests in all sports.
3. Promotion of campus and community drug/alcohol awareness including drug-free athletics teams.
4. Represent Flagler College at the conference level.
5. Represent Flagler College at the NCAA Leadership Conference.
6. Disseminate NCAA proposed legislation and new legislation to team members.
C. At the beginning of each academic year the committee will determine specific activities for the year.
