Colin Crothers was a three-time NAIA All-American from 1982-84. In 1982 and 1983, he reached the national quarterfinals, and in 1984, he and Peter Ryan advanced to the NAIA doubles finals. Currently, Crothers is in his 16^th season as the head women’s tennis coach at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. He has recorded the most wins, as a coach, in the history of the program and has coached the team to its first national ranking, No. 65, in 2013.
