Ricardo Mena was a four-year letter winner at Flagler from 1997-2001. He is the most recent alumnus of Flagler out of the other 39 inductees. Mena was a three-time NAIA All-American and was selected as the 1999 Most Outstanding Player after winning the singles title. He was the Ward Ballinger Award recipient in 1999, which recognizes the NAIA’s top men’s tennis player. Mena helped lead Flagler to top 10 rankings, including a No. 2 ranking in 1999. He was ranked as high as No. 1 in singles in 1998. Mena also ran two seasons for the men’s cross country team.
