Sports Information


The Flagler College sports information office is available to assist you with any of the 19 intercollegiate sports teams. The office is located in the Lightner Museum on the second floor. Access in lobby C.

For any information regarding interviews, statistics, photos, press conferences, etc., please contact the sports information office at (904) 819-6465, e-mail director John Jordan (jjordan@flagler.edu) or visit the official Flagler athletics web site at www.flaglerathletics.com.

All interviews are to be arranged through the sports information office and must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All Flagler practices are closed to the media unless access has been granted by the sports information director. 

INCOMING STUDENT-ATHLETES

All new Flagler College student-athletes, including transfers, are required to fill out a Flagler incoming student-athlete bio information form so that the athletic media relations office can keep an accurate record of your time as a Saint. Please click here and fill out the on-line form. 

INTERVIEW POLICIES

During the season, Flagler's coaches are available for in person media interviews prior to practice, but such interviews must be coordinated in advance through the SID at least one day in advance. Flagler student-athletes are available for interviews in person through the same manner. Interviews done with Flagler's student-athletes must be properly coordinated through sports information director, John Jordan, at least one day in advance. Telephone interviews will be granted under special circumstances. No in person interviews with student-athletes or coaches will be granted on game day before the athletic contest takes place. No interviews are to be conducted in the locker room, training room or weight room. Interviews with assistant coaches must be arranged in advance through the Sports Information Office as well. Redshirting players are not required to do interviews. All interview requests for Flagler staff and student-athletes must be made at least one day in advance.
 

POSTGAME INTERVIEWS 
Following the standard NCAA 10-minute cooling off period, Flagler head coaches and/or student-athletes will be available for interviews at prearranged sites at the various home athletic venues.  Please note for all Flagler athletic events, both home and away, Flagler locker rooms are closed to the media.  For road contests, please make your interview requests for coaches and players through the Flagler sports information office or the host SID and they will be brought to the prearranged interview area.

GAME SERVICES
Complete team and individual statistics and game notes are provided to the media for each Flagler home contest.  Telephone, copy machine and fax services are also available.  The Flagler spots information are available  to assist you with any fax or copy requests that you may have at each home event.

PEACH BELT CONFERENCE SERVICES
Statistics, league standings and other information for all 13 Peach Belt Conference teams and the league as a whole are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week exclusively on the world wide web at http://www.peachbelt.com.
