Flagler College Athletics

Melody Milton Coggin was a three-sport star at Flagler from 1977-80. She helped lead the Saints to state championships in basketball (1977 and 1979) and softball (1977). Coggin earned All-State honors in basketball in 1980. She was selected as the softball team’s most valuable player in 1979. Coggin still holds the all-time field goal percentage record (.574), set in the 1979-80 season. She is currently the athletic director at Baker County High School in Macclenny.
