Andrew Brodbeck of the baseball team was selected as the recipient of the Total Package Award, sponsored by Anastasia Fitness and Vighetti & Associates, for the 2014-15 spring sports season.
The award is presented on a seasonal basis to the student-athlete who excels in each of the following: athletics, academics, character, sportsmanship, personal fitness and community involvement.
"Opie is a recent graduate and a four-year player in our baseball program," said head baseball coach Dave Barnett. "He has had a tremendous baseball career, but more importantly he has excelled in the classroom. His career grade point average is 3.47. He has been a leader on and off the field for our team. His teammates respect his work ethic and leadership. He was recently named to the All-Peach Belt Conference first-team and also was selected as an All-Region player. Opie is truly the 'Total Package'!"
