Corey Mundy of the men's cross country team was selected as the recipient of the Total Package Award, sponsored by The Refinery Athletic Club & Wellness Center, for the 2014-15 fall sports season.
The award is presented on a seasonal basis to the student-athlete who excels in each of the following: athletics, academics, character, sportsmanship, personal fitness and community involvement.
"Over the course of his four years at Flagler, Corey has proven to be among the most hard-working student-athletes we have ever seen,' said Brian Beil, the head men's and women's cross country and indoor track coach. "Last semester he pulled a 4.0 in the classroom, finished runner-up at the PBC Conference Championships, All-Southeast Region, and advanced to the NCAA DII National Championships for the second year in a row. I can’t think of a more deserving student-athlete to receive this award for the fall semester."
