Trace McDonald of the men’s lacrosse team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 9.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native scored five goals and tallied one assist to help lead Flagler to a 2-0 week. He scored the goal in overtime as No. 12 Flagler defeated No. 15 Saint Leo University 8-7 on "Senior Night." McDonald had a hat trick and added an assist in a 14-8 win over a stubborn Barton College team.
