Tori Pearce of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec. 13.

The 5-foot-8 senior from Bay Shore, New York led the Saints last week with a 22.5 points per game average. Pearce averaged 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game as well as making 50 percent of her shots from the field.

In the season opener last Friday against the University of North Georgia, Pearce scored a team-high 23 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field. She also tallied six assists. In Sunday's win at Georgia Southwestern State University, she tallied 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 40 minutes of play.

Flagler visits Jacksonville University tonight (7 p.m.) and will visit the Florida International University on Wednesday.
