Chloe Byrne of the women's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Oct. 6.

Byrne, normally a midfielder, moved to the back four this past week and helped anchor a defense that surrendered only two goals and helped No. 6 (United Soccer Coaches D2 Top 25) Flagler College to a 2-0 week. The sophomore from Annapolis, Maryland helped the Saints rally from a 1-0 deficit on Saturday to Clayton State University as she assisted on both goals in a 2-1 win. She played 66 minutes in both matches last week.
