Robert Girgis of the baseball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending April 29.

Girgis tossed a complete game seven-hitter as Flagler defeated USC Aiken 5-4 last Saturday. The Jacksonville native fanned a season-high 12 batters and at one point retired 18-of-20 batters, including 10 in a row.

Girgis is tied for the PBC lead with 13 games started and is ninth in strikeouts with 74.
