Tabitha Odabe of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending March 3.
This is the fourth time this season Odabe has been named the athlete of the week.
Odabe averaged a team-high 17.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per game to help Flagler to a 2-0 week and the No. 3 seed in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. She shot 70.6 percent (12-17) from the field and blocked eight shots. At Columbus State last Wednesday, Odabe scored 18 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, and blocked five shots in a 66-51 win. She added 16 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks on "Senior Day" in a 65-39 win over UNC Pembroke.
Odabe leads the PBC in rebounding, rebounds per game, and blocked shots. She is fourth in field goal percentage and fifth in field goals made.Â
