Charlsea Owen of the women's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Dec. 19.

Owen scored a season-high 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range.

For the season, Owen is averaging 8.6 points per game and is second on the team with nine 3-pointers.
