Jonathan Armold of the baseball team was selected as the Flagler College Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Apr. 25.

Armold tossed seven innings, scattered seven hits, allowed one run and struck out three to pick up the win in Flagler's 6-3 victory over Armstrong Atlantic State University in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader. He retired 12-of-the-first-16 batters he faced and only allowed one base runner to reach scoring position in the first six innings. Armold also tallied four assists.

For the season, Armold was a 6-1 record and a staff-best earned run average of 3.84.
