Flagler College Athletics

Chelsea Taylor of the women's tennis team was selected as the Flagler College Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Mar. 28.

Taylor was perfect on the week - 2-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles play. Playing No. 6 singles, she defeated Jessica Budd of No. 11 Clayton State 7-5 and 6-0 and followed with a 6-1 and 6-1 win over Karine Augur of No. 4 Francis Marion.

In doubles play, she teamed with Rachel Gould as they routed all three doubles opponents.

For the season, Taylor is 10-2 in singles play and 6-2 in doubles when matched up with Gould. She is 11-3 overall with four different doubles partners.
