NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Flagler College men's track & field team saw three athletes in Luke Larkin, Finn Russell and Kaleb Hollins named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region last week, according to organization officials.

To earn an All-Region distinction, the athlete must be a top-5 individual in their respective event from their region. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season. Across two events, Larkin and Hollins earned their distinction in the 800 meter while Russell earned his in the 5000 meter.

Hollins is the highest ranked Saint in the 800 as he holds the nation's 19th fastest time and the regions second fastest time in 1:48.53. Hollins ran this time earlier in the season while competing at the Embry-Riddle Running Elements on Apr. 2. The region's fourth fastest runner, Larkin's best came in at 1:48.81 which is 28th in Division II. Larkin ran this time while competing at the John Weaver Invitational on Apr. 24.

In the 5000, Russell holds the 36th fastest time in Division II. The senior's 14:11.24 puts him at fifth in the region. Russell ran this time while competing at the Raleigh Relays on Mar. 26.

This is the first time either of these Saints have been named to the USTFCCCA All-Region.
