EMPORIA, Kan. –
Kaleb Hollins of Flagler College finished in 10
th place in the first round of the 800 meter run with a time of 1:49.36 at the NCAA Division II National Championships Friday night at the Francis G. Welch Stadium.
The top eight runners advanced to Saturday's final.
Hollins was tied for 19
th nationally in the 800 meter run with a season-best time of 1:48.53, which happened at the Embry-Riddle Running Elements, April 2. That was the second-fastest time in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region.
