ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Kaleb Hollins of the Flagler College men's track & field team qualified for the 800 meter at the NCAA Division II National Championship, announced yesterday afternoon.

The championship will be held at Welch Stadium in Emporia, KS. Hollins will compete in the preliminary race at 6 PM on Friday, May 22. The finals for the event will begin at 5:15 PM on Saturday, May 23.

Earlier this season, Hollins competed at the Embry-Riddle Running Elements on Apr. 3. Here, Hollins placed first overall and ran the 19th fastest time in the nation at 1:48.53. This time is the Junior's personal best and is tied for the 17th fastest time among competitors at the championship.
