Flagler volleyball releases 2026 schedule

3/30/2026 4:39:00 PM

ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College head volleyball coach Jeff Reynolds, and the defending Peach Belt Conference Tournament champion as well as the regular season co-champion, have officially released the 2026 schedule, which features 14 home matches, including the Flagler Invitational.

The Saints will play 29 matches during the regular season. Since becoming a full NCAA Division II member in 2008, Flagler has posted a 161-59 record, a winning percentage of .732, in home matches.

"Overall, I believe we have put together a very well-balanced schedule that includes some exciting match-ups," said Reynolds. "I believe our schedule will give us the ability to square off against some of the top teams in the country and earn some national and regional recognition along the way. We have a set of very specific goals and expectations we hope to accomplish this season, and this year's schedule, combined with a balanced home and road schedule against some very strong opponents, could go a long way in helping us accomplish those goals. Having a great schedule is one thing, but taking care of that schedule and doing the work necessary to see our goals come to fruition is the priority."

Flagler will play 10 matches against six teams that played in the NCAA Division II Tournament. They will play 17 matches against teams who finished with a .500 winning percentage or better. Flagler will have 10 matches against teams that won 20 or more matches last year.

The Saints will begin the season playing at the Oredigger Volleyball Classic at Golden, Colorado, which is the first time a Flagler team has ventured out to the Rocky Mountains. They open with the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs on Aug. 27. The Saints then face Northern State University and Colorado School of Mines on Aug. 28. The tournament concludes on Aug. 29 with Rockhurst University. Those four teams averaged 22 wins last year.

"We are so excited to accept the invitation to play at the prestigious Colorado School of Mines Tournament out in Colorado," said Reynolds. "Not only will it be a great opportunity to compete against some of the top teams in the country, but also it will provide three of our players who are from Colorado the opportunity to play in front of their family and friends."

The Flagler Invitational will be played Sept. 4-5 at Flagler Gymnasium. The Saints welcome in Lees-McRae College and Saint Leo University on the first day. Valdosta State University and Maryville University take on Flagler on Sept. 5.

"We couldn't be more excited to host the Flagler Invitational again this season," said Reynolds. "We have some fantastic teams coming in this season that present some unique and fun match-ups, including a mother vs. daughter coaching matchup in one of our key match-ups. I can think of no better place to host a mini family reunion than St. Augustine, Florida."

The PBC-GSC Crossover follows the next weekend, Sept. 10-12, at Clinton, Mississippi. Flagler takes on Mississippi College on Sept. 10. The Saints face The University of Alabama in Huntsville on Sept. 11 and close out the tourney against the University of Montevallo on Sept. 12.

Savannah State University comes to the Ancient City for a match on Sept. 15. Flagler opens Peach Belt Conference play on Sept. 18 against the University of South Carolina Aiken.

"We look forward to competing once again for a Peach Belt Conference regular-season and conference tournament championship," said Reynolds. "It's never easy with the level of competition and challenges of travel in the Peach Belt. I think we are going to see six teams battling week in and week out. It's going to be a challenging conference schedule."

Middle Georgia State University (Sept. 25), Augusta University (Sept. 26), and Edward Waters University (Sept. 29) closes out the homestand.

The Saints open October on the road. They travel to Lander University (Oct. 2), Georgia College & State University (Oct. 3), and USC Aiken for a pair (Oct. 9-10).

Georgia College plays at Flagler Gym Oct. 16 and 17 while Florida Tech venture north for a match on Oct. 20.

The last two regular season road trips follow as the Saints play at Augusta (Oct. 23-24) and Middle Georgia (Oct. 30-31).

Lander closes out the regular season at Flagler Gym for two dates, Nov. 6-7.

The PBC Tournament will be held Nov. 12-14 at the regular season conference champion. The winner gets the automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional, Nov. 19-21. The elite eight will be played Dec. 3-5 at Kansas City, Missouri.
