Coaching at Flagler
Jeff Reynolds begins his second year at the helm of Flagler College volleyball program after leading the Saints to the Peach Belt Conference regular-season title, the PBC tournament championship, and a first-round victory at the NCAA Tournament in 2025. Reynolds was named the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year. In his first year at Flagler, the Saints produced an overall record of 22-13, including a record of 12-3 in league play.

Prior to Flagler
Reynolds posted a remarkable 84-36 (.700) record in his four years at Lander University. In his final season at Lander (2024), Reynolds coached Lander to its first-ever PBC regular-season title with a 7-1 record, finishing with a 22-6 overall record, which included the program’s first Sweet-16 appearance. Reynolds was also named the PBC Coach of the Year for the second time in three seasons. During his tenure at Lander, he coached five American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Southeast Region selections, one region freshman of the year, the PBC Player of the Year, three freshmen of the year, two setters of the year, two libero/defensive specialists of the year, and nine all-conference members. He led the Bearcats to three consecutive NCAA Division II Tournament appearances as well as three consecutive 20-win seasons. In 2023, Reynolds’ team shattered the school’s record for wins in a season with 28. He left Lander as the winningest volleyball coach in school history with an overall winning percentage of 70 percent and a winning percentage of 68.8 percent against conference opponents.

Prior to his time in Greenwood, Reynolds was the head coach at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah, from 2016-2021. The Badgers posted a 131-28 (.824) record under his tutelage. He coached the team to three NJCAA National Tournament appearances and three Region 18/Scenic West Conference titles. He was named the Region 18 Coach of the Year twice as well as the Rocky Mountain District Coach of the Year. After leading the Badgers to a No. 2 national ranking and NJCAA National Runner-Up finish in 2020-21, Reynolds was named the AVCA West Region Coach of the Year. He coached five NJCAA All-Americans, three Region 18 Players of the Year, one Region 18 Defensive Player of the Year, and 32 NJCAA All-Region selections.

Over his career, Reynolds has posted a record of 235-75 (.758), averaging 23.5 victories per season. Reynolds-led teams have won 20 or more matches in nine of the 10 seasons he has served as a head coach.

A consistent thread during his times at Lander and Snow are that his teams have excelled in the classroom. In each of his ten years of coaching, the teams have posted a 3.5 grade point average or better, and five of his teams have earned AVCA All-Academic Team awards. The past two seasons at Lander, six members of the Lander volleyball program have posted a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. In his first season at Flagler, two different student-athletes obtained a 4.0.
