Three Saints named honorable mention AVCA All-America

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Flagler College volleyball team finished off the season with three Saints being named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II honorable mention All-Americans this afternoon.

For the second consecutive season, Flagler volleyball earned three All-Americans. This is the ninth season since becoming a Division II program that the Saints have had at least one All-American. Gracie Fleming and Marley Middlebrooks became the 12th and 13th Saint in the Division II era to receive this award. Clare Sheedy is now one of three Saints to earn All-America twice

The 2025 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Setter of the Year is third in the Division II in total assists, with 1378. Sheedy earned these as she led the Saints to a 22-13 record and their second consecutive NCAA Southeast Region semifinal round appearance. Averaging 10.52 assists per set, Sheedy is second in the region and 23rd in the nation. In program history, Sheedy is second in assists in one season.

After finishing second in the region in total kills, Middlebrooks earned her first career All-America honor. Through 35 matches, Middlebrooks finished with an average of 3.75 kills per set and a total of 491 kills. In program history, Middlebrooks now ranks fifth all time in kills in one season. Two aces shy of leading the team, Middlebrooks finished the season with 46. Middlebrooks also finished second in team digs with 350.

Capping off the season with a .340 hitting percentage, Fleming is third in the conference and eighth in the region in highest percentage. Fleming averaged 2.25 kills per set on her 279 total kills. On defense, Fleming was the team's lead blocker with 96 blocks.
