NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Flagler College men's cross country team enters the season ranked No. 3 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Poll.
They were featured in the FloTrack DII XC Rankings, claiming the No. 24 spot in the nation.
Last year, the Saints narrowly missed out on a trip to the national championship after tying Anderson University (S.C.) at the Southeast Regional. Despite the short comings, the Saints return core starters heading into the season with
Brandon Knieja,
Will Stone,
Kaleb Hollins, and
Finn Russell. The 2024 NCAA National Championship runners-up, Wingate University, were selected as No. 1 in the region after their sixth-straight first place regional finish. Anderson claimed the No. 2 spot in the region.
