AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Flagler College men's cross country team was selected to finish second in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) preseason coaches' poll, released this morning by conference officials.
After placing second in last year's PBC Championship and fourth in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional, the Saints collected three first place votes, giving them 59 points. The Saints trailed projected No. 1 Augusta University by three points.
Returning for the season are all three All-PBC runners:
Will Stone,
Kaleb Hollins and
Finn Russell. Stone and Russell earned All-Southeast Region last year.
The Saints will open up their season on Sept. 5 at Valdosta State University for the VSU Border Clash.
