ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – With the 2026 women's soccer season set to kick off next week, the Peach Belt Conference has unveiled the Preseason Coaches' Poll and Preseason All-Conference team on Thursday afternoon. Flagler clocked in at No. 5 in the preseason poll, which was voted on by the leagues coaches and senior Avery Raimondo earned Preseason All-Conference honors.
 
"The group have been working hard this preseason and making progress," said Flagler women's soccer head coach Ashley Martin. "We've got a lot of new additions so this will be a very different team to previous seasons. There is a real desire in the group to win games and championships this year, and it's been fun watching them compete every day in training."
 
As a unit, the Saints are coming off a 10-7-3 record and 5-3-2 mark in conference play last season. Ashley Martin leads his team into his 13^th season, as the Saints have posted double digit wins in seven of the last nine seasons. Flagler caught fire at the end of last year, winning five straight before dropping a 2-1 battle in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament Semifinals.
 
Senior midfielder Avery Raimondo is a key returner from last year's squad. The St. Johns, Florida native was tabbed Preseason All-Conference after starting 15-of-20 matches last season. Raimondo logged 1,156 minutes on the pitch last year and netted three goals with two assists. The North Florida transfer spent the first two seasons of her career with the Ospreys, appearing in 24 matches and dishing out two assists.
 
"Avery is a wonderful player that has made a massive impact on our team," said Martin. "She has been the ideal player to establish a culture within our program and always leads by example. We are all looking forward to Avery having a great season in 2026."
 
The reigning PBC Tournament Champions from Columbus State checked in at No. 1 in the Preseason Poll, with three first place votes. Last year's top seed heading into the conference tournament, North Georgia, picked up six first-place votes and sit right behind the Cougars in second place. Lander and Georgia College rounded out the top four in order, with the Bobcats tallying one first place vote.
