VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Flagler College men's golf team finished in 14^th place with a 16-over par 880 (295-292-293) at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional, which concluded this afternoon at the Valdosta Country Club (par 72; 7,012 yards).

PJ Herron carded a 3-under 69 in the final round and moved up 29 spots to finish in a tie for 27^th place with a 1-over 217 (77-71-69). Masen McKain finished in a tie for 44^th place with a 3-over 219 (70-73-76). Matthew French tied for 63^rd place with a 7-over 223 (76-75-72) and Nic Eberhard carded a 9-over 225 (72-73-80) and finished in a tie for 73^rd place. Lucas Escudero shot a 4-over 76 in the final round as he subbed in for Rocco Randazzo.

No. 16 (SCOREBOARD by clippd Division II Top 25) Nova Southeastern University finished atop the 20-team leaderboard with a 24-under 840 (281-280-279). Top-ranked University of West Florida finished in second place with an 18-under 846 (281-280-285). No. 2 Lee University moved up one spot and finished third with a 16-under 848 (289-275-284). No. 6 Georgia Southwestern State University slipped to fourth place with a 14-under 850 (279-284-287). Joining those four teams at the national championship are No. 4 Florida Southern College (-11), No. 10 Columbus State University (-4), and No. 3 Wingate University (+1). Fourteen of the 20 team playing in the regional were ranked in the top 25, including six in the top 10.

Cooper Tendick of West Florida led the 102-man leaderboard from start to finish. He has shot a 15-under 201 (67-65-69). He held off, by one stroke, Drew Zielinski of Lee and Bruno Marques of Nova Southeastern. Both had a 14-under 202. The two individuals advancing are Octavio Laurent of USC Beaufort (-11) and Gabriel Hull of Emmanuel College (-8).
