ST. AUGUSTINE – The Flagler College men's golf team finished in sixth place with a 30-over par 894 (289-303-302) at the Peach Belt Conference Championship this afternoon at the King & Bear (par 72; 7,279 yards).

Flagler will wait and see if it receives an at-large berth to the regional tournament. The announcement will be made on April 25.

Nic Eberhard, PJ Herron, and Masen McKain finished in a tie for 13^th place with a 6-over 222. Eberhard shots a 71, 77, and 74 in the three rounds while Heron shot a 75, 71, and 76.

No. 7 (SCOREBOARD by clippd ranking) Georgia Southwestern State University topped the field with a 5-under 859 (280-297-282). They receive the league's automatic berth to the regional. No 10 Columbus State University followed in second place with a 4-over 868 (288-298-282) and No. 11 USC Aiken finished third with a 7-over 871 (294-292-285).

Sam Brown of Georgia Southwestern took over the top spot at the end of the second round and finished atop the 40-man field with a 7-under 209 (70-71-68). Oscar Hammar of Georgia Southwestern and Ian Williams of USC Aiken tied for second, six shots back, with a 1-under 215.

Matthew French finished in a tie for 27^th place with a 13-over 153 (76-77-76). Lucas Escudero carded a 4-over 76 in the final round.
