VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Flagler College men's golf team was one of 11 teams to finish the first round at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional, which was suspended after rain and darkness Thursday at the Valdosta Country Club (par 72; 7,012 yards). The Saints shot a 7-over 295. The remaining players that were left out on the course will resume play at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow, and after that, the second will begin with a shotgun start.

Masen McKain carded a 2-under 70. After a bogey on hole No. 2, he settled in and went par-birdie on the next two holes before rattling off four pars in a row. McKain birdied the No. 9 hole. He made par on the first four holes of the back nine, and went birdie-birdie on the next two holes. McKain finished his round par-bogey-par. Nic Eberhard turned in an even par 72. Matthew French shot 4-over while PJ Herron followed at 5-over. Rocco Randazzo finished at 8-over.
