ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Flagler College women's track & field team, highlighted by the Distance Medley Relay (DMR) team wrapped up their final regular season meet of the season, at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet this weekend.
Competing against some of the nations top NCAA Division II institutions such as Hillsdale College, Ashland University and University of Findlay. The two day meet saw Flagler compete in the 800 meter through
Clemence Treguer,
Abby Misch and
Zoie Marchant and the DMR in Misch, Treguer, Marchant and freshman Sophia Paul.
Starting the meet off in the 800, Misch and Marchant competed in the invitational while Treguer competed in the open. Placing ninth overall in 2:09.93, Misch set her second NCAA provisional time of the season. Marchant placed 20th in 2:14.13, marking her second fastest time of the season. In the open, Treguer set a new personal record, placing 10th in a 2:17.54, almost a full second faster than her previous best.
The highlight of the meet came in the DMR where the Saints ran the 21st fastest time in NCAA DII. With their NCAA provisional time, Misch, Treguer, Marchant and Paul seventh overall in 11:49.13.
