AUGUSTA, Ga. - For the fourth consecutive year, the Flagler College women's cross country team was selected to finish first in Peach Belt Conference (PBC) preseason coaches' poll, which was released this morning.
The Saints collected 98 points thanks to nine first place votes. This put Flagler nine points ahead of Augusta University, who was projected to finish second. The University of North Georgia was picked to finish third.
The Saints are returning four All-PBC runners in seniors
Abby Misch,
Zoie Marchant and
Chloe Smith as well as PBC Freshman of the Year,Â
Franziska Martens. Misch earned All-Southeast Region last year while Smith earned hers in 2023. Other notable returnees is 2023 All-PBC honoreeÂ
Clemence Treguer.
Opening up their 2025 schedule on Sept. 5, the Saints will travel north to participate in the VSU Border Clash hosted by Valdosta State University.
