ST. AUGUSTINE – 
Caden Kresak's bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 10
th inning gave Flagler College a 6-5 walk-off win over Lander University in a Peach Belt Conference baseball game Sunday afternoon at Drysdale Field.
Flagler salvaged the final game of the series and improved to 12-5 overall and 1-2 in the Peach Belt. Lander had its 10-game winning streak snapped as it fell to 12-6 overall and 2-1 in conference play. Up next for the Saints is Assumption University on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Drysdale Field.
The Saints trailed 5-3 going into the bottom of the seventh inning. 
Kevin RisCassi hit a two-out single to start the rally. 
Carson Page laced a triple to right-center that scored RisCassi and Flagler trailed by a run. 
Jacob Reeves followed with a single to right field to tie the game.
The score remained tied until the bottom of the 10
th. Reeves was hit by a pitch and so did pinch hitter 
JJ Taylor who followed. The Bearcats brought in Jonathan Sanchez to stop the Saints. 
Taylor Shultz dropped down a bunt to Sanchez, but he looked to third and by that time, it was too late to get anyone. Flagler had the bases loaded with nobody out. 
Mason Gray hit a ground ball to the Lander third baseman, who was playing in, and he threw out Reeves trying to score. A line-out to shortstop followed and then Kresak hit the second pitch he saw through the hole in the left side of the infield to end the game.
Ethan Bobo (1-0) tossed five innings in relief to earn the win. He allowed one run on five hits with five strikeouts. 
Daniel Fischer started and went five-plus innings. He surrendered three earned runs on seven hits with four strikeouts.
Shultz went 4-for-6 with a double, one run batted in, and he scored a run for the Saints. Kresak went 3-for-6 with a double and three RBI. Page finished 3-for-5 with a triple, two runs scored, and he drove in a run. Reeves went 2-for-3 with a double, was hit by two pitches, and he had one RBI.
Tyler Bowen (0-1), preceded Sanchez on the mound for the Bearcats. He took the loss after allowing a run on one hit in one inning of work.
Taichi Nakao led Lander with three singles, a run scored, and he knocked in a run. Will McClellan collected two singles, scored a run, and drove in another. Cooper Backman finished with two singles.
