ST. AUGUSTINE - Jaylen Jordan scored 18 points, grabbed six rebounds and had a block for Flagler College in its Peach Belt Conference men's basketball game against Augusta University Wednesday night at Flagler Gym. Despite Jordan's efforts, Augusta outscored Flagler 81-65.

Flagler dropped to 12-10 overall and 6-7 in the PBC. Augusta improved to 15-7 for the season and 9-3 in the PBC. The Saints will stay at home to face conference opponent Clayton State University on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

A layup in the paint from
Josiah Shackelford brought the deficit to just three points (62-59) with 6:06 left in the game. Augusta quickly followed up with a layup from Evan Joyner, just one of his 15 points, to spark an 11-1 run.

Shackelford came off the bench to end up scoring 15 points for the Saints.
Hoku Fisher added nine points, had five rebounds, and two steals.
Jax Bouknight added seven points, three rebounds, four assists, and a steal.
Mason Manning tacked on six points and tallied a team-high five assists.

Demitri Gardener led four Jaguars in double-figures with a game high 24 points on 11-of-15 shooting and he tallied five assists. Max Amadasun had a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. John St. Germain III contributed 11 points and added four assists.

Augusta forced 13 Flagler turnovers and converted those into 19 points.
