SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Flagler College head men's basketball coach
Blake Selland is excited to announce the 2026-27 men's basketball schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The 28-game schedule features 15 games inside Flagler Gymnasium and Clark Family Court.
"We couldn't be more excited to start the season," said Selland. "With 15 home games, we are excited for our fans to see what Flagler Basketball is all about this year. There's a lot of new energy around our program with several new faces joining and we can't wait to show our fans. Our home crowd means a lot to us, and we can't wait for games to start."
Flagler will open the new campaign in the Nation's Oldest City on Monday, November 9
th against Florida Tech at 7:00 p.m. Following the opener, the Saints will head to Bluffton, South Carolina for a pair of games against Francis Marion and Eckerd in the Conference Crossover.
The Saints will remain on the road to start week two, heading to Embry-Riddle on Wednesday, November 18
th. Tip off in Daytona Beach is set for 7:00 p.m. as the two programs will meet for the 41
st time. The action will continue into the weekend as the Saints open up a five-game home stretch, beginning on Saturday, November 21
st against Southern Georgia.
The home stand will continue into week three as the Saints host Edward Waters on Tuesday, November 24
th at 7:00 p.m. before a brief break in the action for Thanksgiving. Flagler will return to action in week four with one final non-conference tune up after the break against Trinity Baptist on Monday, November 30
th. The Saints will then turn their attention to Peach Belt Conference play as Flagler welcomes Augusta on Wednesday, December 2
nd for the PBC opener. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The home stretch will wrap up on Saturday, December 5
th when the Saints welcome Columbus State for a 3:30 p.m. tip off.
Flagler will go on the road in week five for back-to-back PBC games. The Saints will travel to Georgia Southwestern on Wednesday, December 9
th before heading to USC Aiken on Saturday. The Saints will close out 2026 on Wednesday, December 16
th against Middle Georgia before another break for the holidays.
The new year will get underway on Saturday, January 2
nd as the Saints travel to North Georgia for a 4:00 p.m. tip off. The Nighthawks are coming off a Peach Belt Conference Tournament Championship appearance last season. Flagler will then return home for a midweek conference battle with USC Beaufort on Wednesday, January 6
th before hosting South Florida Bible over the weekend for a break in conference play.
The Saints will return on the road in week nine, beginning with a Peach Belt Conference Tournament Semifinals rematch against Lander on January 13th. The top-seeded Bearcats took down the Saints last season 66-58 before capturing the PBC Tournament title. Flagler will then head to Georgia College on Saturday, January 16
th for a 3:30 p.m. game against the Bobcats.
Week 10 opens up a five-game stretch for the Saints where they are only home twice. Flagler will welcome Clayton State on January 20
th before heading to Augusta on January 23
rd. The Saints will return home for their second meeting of the season with Georgia Southwestern before heading to Columbus State and Middle Georgia.
The brief road test will set up the final stretch of the regular season, which includes four of their final six games at home. Flagler will travel to USC Beaufort and Clayton State while welcoming USC Aiken, Lander, North Georgia, and Georgia College.
The 2026-27 Peach Belt Conference Men's Basketball Championship tips off on March 3, 2027 with the quarterfinals. The winners will advance to the semifinals on March 6
th and the championship is set for March 7
th. Quarterfinals match ups are hosted by the higher seed and the semifinals will be hosted by the highest remaining seed.
Flagler is coming off an 18-12 campaign last season, and 11-9 mark in PBC play. The Saints were dominant inside Flagler Gymnasium, posting an 11-2 record on their home court. Admission to all home men's basketball games is free for Flagler students, faculty, and staff as well as St. John's county residents with proper identification.
