ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College's Filip Hornburg and Ryan Rivas were selected to the United Soccer Coaches and the Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region teams, which were recently released.
 
Hornburg, a freshman defender, was recognized by both D2CCA and the United Soccer Coaches as a first team all-southeast region selection. The Oslo, Norway native started all 23 matches he played in. He scored five goals and tallied three assists for 13 points and was selected as the Peach Conference Defensive Player of the Year and the PBC Freshman of the Year. Hornburg earned first team all-conference honors.
 
Rivas, a junior goalkeeper, was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region first team. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native started all 22 matches he played in and finished with a 0.95 goals-against average and had 10 shutouts. Rivas finished with an 81.4 save percentage. He led the PBC in save percentage and shutouts per match (45.5). He was a first team all-conference selection.
