ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College freshman defender Filip Hornburg was selected to the D2CC All-America first team according to a release earlier this week.
 
Hornburg was the first men's soccer D2CCA All-American since Matteo Costa in 2021.
 
The Oslo, Norway native was recognized by both D2CCA and the United Soccer Coaches as a first team all-southeast region selection. Hornburg scored five goals and tallied three assists for 13 points and was selected as the Peach Conference Defensive Player of the Year and the PBC Freshman of the Year. He earned first team all-conference honors.
