AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College junior forward/center Marley Smith was named the Peach Belt Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending Dec. 1, according to a release this afternoon by conference officials.

The Auburn, Illinois native came off the bench and recorded the team's first double-double of the year with 22 points and 10 rebounds, both game highs, in Flagler's 76-56 win at Southern Wesleyan University. Smith made 6-of-11 from the field, including one 3-pointer, and sank 9-of-10 from the free throw line. She scored 10 points alone in the first quarter.
