ST. AUGUSTINE – The Flagler College volleyball team hosted its second annual Crimson & Gold intrasquad scrimmage Saturday night at Flagler Gymnasium.
The team was split into two teams, Crimson and Gold, and featured a pair of former volleyball players in Emilee Taylor and current assistant coach Rebecca Royal.

Matt Affolder used three different lineups during the match. All three sets were closely contested.
Taja Valmyr led all players in kills with 15 and finished with a .333 hitting percentage.
Amber Peone collected 10 digs while
Ashley Cheewah recorded three total blocks. Freshman
Tara Savisky saw plenty of time as the setter of Team Crimson and tallied 37 assists.
Flagler opens the 2015 season on Thursday (Sept. 3) against the University of Sioux Falls at 6 p.m. at Flagler Gymnasium.
