Kiley McQuillan of the softball team was selected as Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Mar. 30.
The Orlando, Florida native batted .556 as she went 5-for-9 with one home run, five runs batted in, and she scored three runs as Flagler posted a 1-2 record last week. McQuillan finished with an 1.000 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage. In the first game of the doubleheader at USC Beaufort, she collected a pair of singles, hit a home run, scored two runs, and drove in five runs for an 8-2 win. In game two she went 2-for-4 with a double, a single, and one run scored.
