Rebecca Royal of the women's volleyball team has been selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Nov. 7.

Royal tallied 61 assists (6.78 per set) to help lead Flagler to a 3-0 week and the Peach Belt Conference regular season title for the second year in a row. Royal also broke the school's all-time block assists record of 305 (set by Krista McAra) in the win at Armstrong Atlantic State University last Wednesday. She also hit .438 and six total blocks.

For the season, Royal has 681 assists (6.19 per set), 87 total blocks (0.79) and is hitting an efficient .362.
