Molly Boyd of the volleyball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 6.

The Chicago, Illinois native recorded a career high 21 kills and hit a sizzling .500 with only four errors on 34 swings in a hard-luck five-set loss at Wingate University. Boyd is currently third in ther PBC in hitting percentage (.372) and blocks (1.05/set), and seventh in kills (2.50/set).
