Amelia Fitzpatrick of the volleyball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 8.

Fitzpatrick helped the Saints to a 2-0 weekend over Georgia College and State University where she posted 37 assists, 11 kills, 8 aces and 13 digs, while maintaining an impressive .435 hitting percentage on the weekend. 

In the first win over GCSU, the Ocala native had 6 aces which put her only one behind the single game record.
