Andrea Fernandez of the women's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week following the period ending Oct. 31.
The freshman from Pozoblanco, Spain scored a pair of goals and assisted on another to help Flagler to a 2-0 week. She did all of her damage in the 3-0 win over Georgia College last Saturday. Fernandez tallied her team-leading ninth assist in the second minute and then scored goals in the 27th and 45th minutes.
Fernandez leads the Saints in goals (12), assists (9), and points (33). Nationally, she is seventh in assists, 17th in goals, and 10th in total points.Â
