Jaylen Lemons of the men's basketball team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Holiday Inn Express for the month of December.
 
Lemons was selected as athlete of the week of the week on Dec. 12.
 
For the season, Lemons leads the Saints with a 15.4 points per game average and his 37 three-pointers. The sophomore has a 43.5 shooting percentage behind the arc. He ranks fifth in the PBC in scoring and is first in 3-pointers made per game (2.6). Lemons leads the league in 3-pt field goal percentage and is ninth in assists per game (3.4).

(From the Dec.12 release) The Cincinnati, Ohio native scored 25 points, with the help of seven made 3-pointers, in an 86-85 overtime loss at the University of North Georgia to open the Peach Belt Conference slate. His three-pointer at the buzzer sent the game to overtime. Lemons' seven treys are the most by a Flagler player this season.
