Alona Personius of the softball team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of April.
Personius was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Apr. 17.
She batted .340 for the month with a team-high 16 hits, 14 runs scored, six home runs, 12 runs batted in, 35 total bases and a .745 slugging percentage. Personius helped lead Flagler to a 10-4 record in April and a return to the Top 25 poll.
She finished the season with a .324 batting average, 12 home runs, 13 doubles, 48 runs scored, 45 RBI and a .604 slugging percentage.
