Tori Pearce of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week following the period ending Dec. 19.
The senior guard from Bay Shore, New York led the team in points, with 19.7 per game, rebounds (7.0/game), and assists (5.3/game). Pearce tied her season-high with 32 points and completed her fourth double-double of the season with 10 rebounds vs. Nova Southeastern University (Dec. 15). She dished out 10 assists for the third time this season vs. Palm Beach Atlantic University (Dec. 13).
In the Peach Belt Conference, Pearce is third in scoring average (18.4 ppg), second in assists per game (5.8), and fourth in steals per game (2.8).
