Bella Petrone of the women's golf team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Nov. 8.

The junior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania shared Peach Belt Conference Golfer of the Week honors after posting her first top-10 and top-five finish as she tied for fourth place at last week's Savannah Lakes Invitational. Petrone shot a five-over 149, and her first round 72 tied her career-best for 18 holes. She collected 26 pars and three birdies. 

This fall, Petrone was third in scoring average with a 77.86 mark.
