Flagler College Athletics

Rayven Wade of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec 31.

The Jacksonville, Florida native's layup with 13.4 seconds left to go gave Flagler a 64-63 lead and the Saints went on to defeat Georgia College 65-63 to remain undefeated (4-0) in league play and 6-2 overall. Wade finished with a team-high 16 points, added six rebounds and had four steals.  

Wade is ninth in the Peach Belt Conference in defensive rebounds (45) and ninth in rebounds per game (7.8).
