Tara Savisky of the volleyball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Nov 12.

Savisky helped lead the Saints to a 3-0 week as she averaged 11.09 assists and 3.27 digs per set. She tallied a career-high 61 assists on Sunday in a big five-set victory at Georgia College that clinched the regular season title.

The Oakdale, Pennsylvania native had a pair of double-doubles as she had 29 assists and 11 digs at Francis Marion and then 61 assists and 20 digs at Georgia College. The 20 digs was a season-best. Savisky also recorded 11 kills in the three matches.

She leads the PBC in assists and assists per set.
