DeAsha Campbell of the women's basketball team was selected as the December Athlete of the Month.

Campbell was the athlete of the week Dec. 13.

For the month, Campbell led the team in scoring with a 12.2 points per game average and also led the team with eight assists in the five games played. She grabbed 20 rebounds and tallied eight steals. She erupted for 21 points, with the help of making 10-of-12 free throws, to help lead Flagler to a 60-48 win at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Dec. 11). Campbell also scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds at Florida Southern College (Dec. 30).

Campbell leads the Peach Belt Conference in minutes played per game (33.5). She is averaging 11.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
